Chain Lightning newcomer Mark Poole vs. Florida in the finals of Terminus
The 2-weekend tryout process, beginning with 25+ men, was almost certainly the highest level of competition for spots that Chain Lightning has ever had, and it may not even be a close contest.
Misc of note:
-of the 8 newcomers, all but 2 are within a year or two of college
-those 2 older players, Wooten and Spears, have both been Chain members before
-Wooten, Poole, and Schrafft all played, as tryouts, on the Chain team that won Terminus handily in March
-Joel joins his brother Frank (07 rookie) on the squad
-Asa Wilson is returning open play after two seasons of mixed
-Schrafft (AJ Tiarsmith) and Snow & Moore (Frito Monforti) now will be teammates with their college coaches
-Vandenberg teamed up with Chain vet Zip at Brown to win the 2005 UPA college championship
